Dr. Steven Trevor Smith grew up outside Flint, Michigan, where his family encouraged his passion for serving his community and the world. Starting in middle school and spanning to the present, he has participated in medical missions work in multiple countries. Dr. Smith earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Asbury University and added a missions minor to his pre-med track. During his time at Asbury, Dr. Smith shadowed with Drs. Ditto and Musick. They sparked his interest for optometry and modeled excellent care for patients and staff. He then moved to San Antonio, Texas to earn his Doctorate of Optometry from UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry. Dr. Smith is excited to be back in his old Kentucky home providing quality eye care to all, offering exams in both English and Spanish.
